LOOKING FOR TROUBLE

Got me a dog. He was a cute little pup.
I named him Trouble. Trouble is he grew up.
Now he's a big behemoth who won't calm down.
Chews on anything he can get his teeth 'round
He don't pay no mind. Got a mind of his own.
Tore out the door last night to parts unknown.

Now I'm Looking for Trouble.
I'm Looking for Trouble.
I'm Looking for Trouble everywhere I go.

Been up and down the block callin' his name.
That dog must think that this is some kind of game.
When I get him home, he'll get a talkin' to good.
Meanwhile I'm wakin' up the whole neighborhood.
Lights goin' on in houses everywhere.
Folks are yellin' "What you doing out there?"

I said I'm Looking for Trouble.
I'm Looking for Trouble.
I'm Looking for Trouble everywhere I go.

Since my baby left, Trouble's been my only friend.
Won't somebody help me bring this tale to an end?

Outta gas and on the wrong side of town.
This canine chase has really got me down.
It's almost morning and I'm feelin' real burned.
I've searched all over. Left no stone unturned
From 'round the corner comes a black and white
Cop asks me "Son, what you doin' out here tonight?"

Well, I'm Looking for Trouble.
I'm Looking for Trouble.
I'm Looking for Trouble everywhere I go.
